The Stelfox Collection consists of books on natural history and entomology. Arthur Wlson Stelfox (1883-1972) was a well known naturalist, known internationally for his work on Hymenoptera, on animal bones from caves, and on the non-marine Mollusca. He worked at the National Museum of Ireland. Stelfox worked with R. Lloyd Praeger on the Clare Island Survey before World War I. Stelfox was was well respected in his field.
This collection is concerned with natural history, especially entomology.
The Stelfox Collection at the University of Ulster consists of approximately 240 books and 200 pamphlets. These are 19th and 20th century.
