While this family was based in Cork (Bowen’s Court, Co. Cork) the bulk of their land was in Tipperary amounting to around 5,000 acres. This came through the 1716 marriage of Henry Bowen to Jane, only child and heiress of Robert Cole of Ballymackey, Co. Tipperary.

This is a large collection of mainly 19th century estate material, rentals and maps.
