Biography/History

John Seeds FRIBA (fl. 1934-1946) was an architect practising from 7 Donegall Square West, Belfast-based architect. He served as RIBA representative on the Ancient Monuments Advisory Committee of the Government of Northern Ireland from 1934. As a member of the Georgian sub-committee, he was responsible for a survey of the architecture of the Georgian period in the six counties. He also served on the Northern Ireland Planning Advisory Board from 1942 as a representative of the Royal Society of Ulster Architects.
